Ashton Geo on show at UK's largest GIS get together
5 November 2008

The Ashton Geo team were very proud to have been involved as the Gold partner of the GIS For Everyday life event and felt it fantastic to have been involved.

We were overwhelmed with the response, and the support and encouragement at the event was outstanding. It was great to put faces to so many names! We do however want to apologise to those of you who we did not get a chance to meet and hope that we have been able to help you since!

On the stand we gave away a trip in our hot air balloon across Bristol which was entered by over 400 people over the three days and the champagne flight, we are pleased to announce, was won by Jon Cline of Sigma Seven.

We thought we would end our news round up with a few quick ESRI EMEA facts you may not know!!

  • Ashton Geo are representing 468 “new to the market” UK based candidates
  • Sales professionals are the number one recruit with nine senior positions available
  • We expanded our expertise across EMEA with new clients in Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and the Netherlands
  • Teleatlas’ Logo is of a Dutch boy flying on a Goose
  • Analysts are the most loyal employees
  • Developers are sadly the least!
  • None of the team have managed to master the Yo Yoing skills of the Limehouse software stand!
